THE ‘ACT OF GOD’ PARADOX

The city owns the tree that grows on your front lawn. The city will sue you if you cut it down. But when a tornado strikes with force and fury, picks the tree and slams it into your garage and takes out your car’s windshield too, the city tells you to go to the insurance company.

You go to the Insurance Company and file a claim. But they reply saying that you certainly cannot file for any damage costs as it is considered as an ‘Act of God’ , and when it is so declared, you cannot be compensated.

But the irony is that the insurance company is owned by a bunch of atheists!
