Moonwhile Insauga last night the Full Moon appeared a little hazy.
In 2022, September's full moon is closest to the autumnal equinox, which falls on September 22, so it's called the Harvest Moon, according to The Old Farmer's Almanac. Vice versa, when October's full moon is closer to the equinox, it gets the name harvest moon, and September's is called the corn moon. Photograph by Tony Fernandes.
