The Full Moon in March is the Worm Moon, and it is usually considered the last Full Moon of winter. It is also called Lenten Moon, Crow Moon, Crust Moon, Chaste Moon, Sugar Moon, and Sap Moon. It was given the name super worm moon as it coincides with the spring equinox, when the length of day and night are almost the same. Worms are said to emerge from the soil around this time.
