Eclipsed Harvest Full Moon

Full-moonwhile, in Mississauga, it was a partially-eclipsed Harvest Moon. Nevertheless, the September full moon is known as the harvest full moon because it is usually the moon that occurs closest to the autumnal equinox. It is also the time of year when the season comes to an end for summer crops to be harvested.
