Lightning photos should always be timed exposures with remote settings for your own safety. Set up camera on a tripod. Never attempt hand-held clicks. Lighting photography in Dubai in the late 1990's. One of my photographs appeared on the 1st page of the Gulf News Daily on October 16, 1997.

Wood-burning or Pyrography is the art of decorating wood or other materials with patterns or drawing burnt into wood resulting from the controlled application of a heated stylus attached to a hand-held pen. It is also known as pokerwork or wood burning. Pyrography means "writing with fire", from the Greek "pur" (fire) and "graphos" (writing). All art here below is done by hand.

Beaver Moon - Blood Moon - Lunar Eclipse

The Beaver Moon is considered a blood moon this year as a result of the total lunar eclipse that was in effect. In addition to the Beaver Moon, other names for November's full moon include the Frost or Frosty Moon and the Snow Moon due to the icy formations that often set in around this time of the season, particularly in North America.
