Saint Teresa of Calcutta - Saint of the Day
Anjezë Gonxhe Bojaxhiu, better known as Mother Teresa or Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta, was an Albanian-Indian Catholic nun, founder of the Missionaries of Charity and a Catholic saint. Born in Skopje, then part of the Ottoman Empire, she was raised in a devoutly Catholic family.

Life and Legacy:
Early Life: Born in Rome around 540 AD, he initially served as the Prefect of Rome before leaving public office to become a Benedictine monk.Papal Leadership: As pope during a time of plague, famine, and war, he used the papal treasury to feed the poor, care for refugees, and negotiate peace.
